Richard Sasson
Co-Founder
Innovation as an entrepreneurial mindset.
Richard Sasson’s career has developed where technology, commercial strategy and hospitality meet.
After an MBA at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, including an exchange period at the Yale School of Management, he specialised in entrepreneurship and technology innovation for hospitality.
Among his most significant ventures is Vikey, the startup he co-founded to rethink hotel and short-stay hospitality by digitalising check-in, document management, payments and access to properties.
The company attracted institutional investment and reached a major milestone in 2025, when it joined the Zucchetti Group.
At the same time, Richard contributes to the development of the group’s activities, with particular focus on operational governance, sales and distribution strategies, the main OTA channels and the coordination of revenue management policies.
His interest in technology also drives the search for simpler, more efficient operating models, able to streamline resources and support the evolution of the business.
A sensibility that sees innovation not as an end in itself, but as an opportunity to imagine new ways of doing business.
